Making the memorial accessible to everyone.

We want everyone to be able to explore Sir Garry's story and read or share tributes. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

Using the site

• Use the skip link to move directly to the life story.
• Use the navigation, controls and tribute form with a keyboard.
• Choose reduced motion through your device or browser settings.
• Pause moving tribute content and video where controls are provided.
• Read the complete story and published tributes as text.
• Use Pause motion or Resume motion in the site header. The memorial remembers your choice on this device.
• Meaningful images have text descriptions. Charts in the restricted administration area include the same information in a text table.
• Form fields identify required and optional information, and validation messages are connected to the relevant field.
